Make a button at https://dabuttonfactory.com/ and save it to your computer.

Click Upload in the Insert menu and select the button image file to insert it.

Click the Insert Link icon above the inserted image and enter the URL you want the button to go to.

Alternatively you can insert the code from the button factory, like

Clicking this button opens a page on this site. It opens in the same tab. This is accomplished by selecting the target page from a list. If you enter the URL it will open in a new tab.

The ability to add a button has been added to Sites.

Add a button

You can add a button on your site to take people to another URL or page.

  1. On a computer, open a site in new Google Sites.
  2. On the right, click Insert Components.
  3. Click Button.
  4. Enter a name. This will appear on the button.
  5. Paste a URL the button should point to, or choose a page on your site.
  6. Click Insert.
