Using Google Domains


  1. Sign into Google Domains, then click the DNS tab of the domain name you want to map Google Sites to.

  2. Scroll down to Custom resource records.

  3. Create a new CNAME record:

    • Name: The subdomain you are directing to the site, not @

    • Type: CNAME

    • TTL: 1h

    • Data: GHS.GOOGLEHOSTED.COM

  4. Click Add to save the record.

Please take note that it is highly recommended to add the CNAME before adding/changing the Web address in the Google Sites management page.
